University Student Health Insurance Coverage
Medical Insurance for students, and in particular University Student Health Insurance Coverage, should never be looked at as something which is not needed. There’s far too many young learners who think they are as strong as an ox, as fit as a fiddle, and pretty much indestructible therefore not needing any health care insurance policy of any kind. It’s an easy concept to grasp when young and full of energy, but it’s also a naïve and pretty dumb to think that only the old and frail will need insurance cover. Good news for students is that their health cover is relatively cheap. Ok, so young people can lead pretty reckless lifestyles and some would say are more at risk of getting sick or injured through stupidity, but the bottom line is that the young are less likely to get sick, and being ‘poor’ students there are always concessions made for such things which are often heavily subsided by certain bodies for the time they hang on to their student status.
