Underground network of Announcements
Blogs
I'd
like to
discuss the core philosophy of the Article Announcements
Blogs.
The basic premise
behind the announcements blogs is that they are high quality well respected
web sites that offer real value to visitors and allow current AU members
to announce "real
content" web
pages that have "real value".
The blogs are monitored
by myself and the members of Article Underground to keep the value
of blogs like this one high.
The blogs are a
tremendously valuable resource. One reason is because I take the time
to carefully set up the blogs properly for max benefit and make them
look attractive. The blogs offer real value to visitors.
My theory is that
if a search engine reviewer ever visits one of the blogs they will
see a decent looking web site that offers good quality content that
has great value for real visitors!
And that brings
me to a couple of rules that have been created for all of our benefit.
I'll spare explaining every nook and cranny but will highlight a few
concepts that are really important.
OK, here's a few tips and suggestions...
If you always post with the idea that you intend to offer
value to a visitor, we can eliminate 99% of the problem posts.
Do things naturally!
No automated posting
or "automated-like behavior".
ONLY
link to URL's that have "real content". Real
content could be an article, press release or blog post with words that
relate to those you used to inform the visitor what they'll find when
they click the link(s). They must have real value to the visitor. Nothing
deceptive allowed.
You are allowed
2 links in each post - 1 is preferred but a 2nd link is acceptable
if it also relates to the words in your post. The second link could
be to a home page or a category page.
You ARE NOT ALLOWED
to LINK TO SITE MAPS!
Linking to site
maps is not acceptable. Find other places
to link to your site maps. Do not use announcements
blogs for that!
Also, please do
not link to a URL more than 1 time per blog. Repeated posting
to the same page is not allowed. Just one time per URL.
FYI - A URL is a
web address. It refers to a web page. Do not link to the same page
more than 1 time. ONCE per blog please!
Once again if
you post with the intention of HELPING a visitor and satisfying their
needs - you'll be doing just fine!
Well, that's all for now! Happy linking!
Mike
