Domestic violence against men is not as common in the media

In some cases of domestic violence against men, the man in question may stay because he would feel deeply ashamed if anyone knew his wife was abusive towards him. Men are viewed as the stronger sex, and that means they should never have to worry about a woman having so much power over them.
