Gym Etiqutte Rules

Filed under: Announcements — by Smitty on Tuesday, July 31st, 2007 at 8:08 pm

There’s this sort of unwritten rule about what you should and should not do in the gym, from what you’re wearing to how you smell. It’s called Gym Etiquette, and believe me, if you make someone mad, they may be very vocal about telling you about it. I’ve seen near fights in the gym and have been “attacked” myself by two other lifters.

So what are the rules? What should you absolutely not do in the gym, and more importantly why?

This is probably the most incredible email I have ever gotten. It’s from a good friend of mine Ang and shortly after receiving it, I realized she wasn’t asking a question, but sending me her commitment to taking action. She clearly lists what she’s willing to do, she’s open to feedback and direction, stated what she knows and what she doesn’t know, has taken measurements and she’s journaling the entire weight loss process.

When do you make the final decision to take action on your weight loss? What’s the last straw that pushes you over the edge? What is your “warning weight”… the number that you set in your head that says “ok, gotta have a look at my training and my diet”? Is it when you pants no longer fit? Or you have to squeeze into that theatre seat? Or is it when your doctor says “you have to do something or you’re going to die” ?

Easy Weight Loss Methods

So, is easy weight loss is the right choice? Personally, I have found no easy way to lose weight. Although, cutting out sugared sodas, a ritual snack, or increasing physical fitness to burn calories, easy weight loss still requires the person to make changes and personal sacrifices. Sadly, there is no magic pill that will result in easy weight loss. You still need to exercise, eat right, and resist the temptation to fall back into old habits.

Driving while under the influence

Receiving a DUI might cost you thousands of dollars, but it may also cost you emotionally, physically, and others will pay as well. So, before you drink and drive you should really consider all of the many costs you might face as well as the effects your actions will have on the lives of others.

First of all, a DUI does cost a lot of money if all that happens is you are pulled over and receive a ticket for driving while under the influence. Your car might be impounded, you will be taken to jail, and you will receive a ticket, as well as other fees and fines that might apply to your specific situation. This will cost you a pretty penny.

Single Cup Coffee Makers Have Become Very Popular

Most coffee lovers enjoy fresh made coffee because this is the only way to take in all of its aromas and taste. We are lucky that nowadays there are many coffee makers that allow us to have a cup of fresh coffee made in the cmfort of our own home. One such coffee maker is the single cup coffee maker.
The single cup coffee maker became very popular instantly because of the way it was designed; it allows you to make a fresh cup of coffee from ground beans just like the espresso machine you find in restaurants, but with a lot less work and at a very reasonable cost. The single cup coffee maker machine can even use milk and sugar and produce the exact kind of coffee you like.

What About Home Schooling?

We have schools setup specifically to educate the kids right!? So why is it that so many parents are taking their children out of conventional schools in order to educate them in the home?  I expect that every parent has their own story but if this trend can be generalized, I would say at a guess that folks are just not happy with the education the kids are getting in regular schools.  And putting the education to one side, there also seems to be a growing concern about the levels of discipline, or lack of it, along with the teen drinking and drugging culture that seems to be getting them younger and younger all the time. But does homeschooling work?

You Really Need Multiple Streams of Income To Cover Any Sites That Disappear.

Filed under: Announcements, Internet — by auwebmann on Tuesday, July 31st, 2007 at 2:44 am

My first experience with losing all my income in one day was an eye opener. I started my first online business, found what I thought was a great opportunity and went for it. It started out slow but my first month I made $7.00 which wasn’t much but it showed me it worked. Now all I had to do was get to work promoting this affiliate program and I was going to be rich.

Each month this affiliate program doubled, which at first still wasn’t that impressive but it grew and grew. It grew enough that I didn’t think I needed anything else. Well one month my check didn’t arrive and I could contact that affiliate program owner. The next month, no check again. To make a long story shorter that check or any other check from that program never materialized and my income was zero again. That is when I started working multiple streams of income so I wouldn’t get caught penniless ever again.

One of my multiple streams of income started at just $0.34 cents. I almost scrapped it but it has become a nice stream of income over the past stream so don’t turn your nose up at a stream of income until you know it doesn’t produce.

Practical Christmas Tree Storage

There are so many innovative storage solutions for just about any item in the home. For some reason Christmas tree storage is still a hassle for most of us. These once-a-year decorations are used in many homes across the globe but there is no really convenient Christmas tree storage system available on the market that I know of.

Many people use chests for the purpose of keeping seasonal items out of site during the off season. This was not really an option for our small home. If we had the room for a large chest in the house we wouldn’t have to use our garage as a Christmas tree storage unit.

Wedding Announcements

Filed under: Announcements — by debbysibert on Sunday, July 29th, 2007 at 11:47 am

Those of us in the wedding industry are often asked, what is the difference between wedding invitations and wedding announcements? Well, there are a few differences. First of all, wedding announcements are sent out after the wedding has taken place, usually the day after. Wedding invitations of course are sent out 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding so that guest can plan to make arrangements to attend.  Sometimes wedding announcements are sent out to announce their wedding to family and friends to let them know that a private or destination wedding has taken place.

Wedding announcements do not include the time or address of the wedding,  just the day and location. Often wedding invitations include an invitation to a delayed reception to celebrate the marriage. The same stationery can be used for wedding invitations and announcements.

LSI in a nutshell

For many of us, LSI might seem like some far-away webmaster thing which is not our concern. But for webmasters, LSI has come to define the way the big G (Google) looks at websites and is of utmost importance this year and in the future.

Basically, LSI which means Latent Semantic Indexing is part of Google’s algorithm in determining if a page should rank for a keyword or not by looking at all the related keywords pertaining to the main keyword.

The ultimate aim of the search engines is still to be able to assess a website as a human would. Although that is far from the present reality, LSI is but one step closer to helping them achieve this capability.

If you feel full after eating only a small meal, I would recommend an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy to eliminate the possibility of stomach cancer.

Head lice can be found in all types and lengths of hair. It is a common mistake to associate head lice with dirty hair. They are equally happy living in clean hair.

You see, I have this wife who watches HGTV (home and garden TV) religiously and they get a lot of internet traffic from me visiting their website daily. It’s like she can’t get enough of it. I on the other hand don’t really find it so entertaining. Then again, there are a number of great ideas depicted on those shows. I must say that they assisted me in sprucing-up my backyard. And that wasn’t a pun referring to spruce trees. At this point the rear of my home looks outstanding.

For me it’s all about privacy and beauty. Therefore I was in need of backyard landscaping ideas that provided me with both aspects. If the yard didn’t look amazing, my wife would probably kill me. Anyway, I needed to add a few trees and rolling hills that blocked out neighboring eyes.

We All Want More Internet Traffic, Don’t We.

Anyone with an ecommerce site is looking for ways to get more Internet traffic. This is something that has been a problem since these types of sites first started up, and they continue to look for new ways to draw people to their sites. Some don’t even have to sell anything to make money, but the best money is indeed in selling something. Some of these sites don’t sell products, but they do have ad space that is affected by how many people come and view those ads, and sometimes a resulting sale, through a link, also means money for them.

One way to get good Internet traffic is to advertise all over the Internet. Some do this with banner ads. Pop up ads used to be the preferred method, but now that so many have pop up blockers on their computers, these are just not as affective as they use to be. Read the entire Internet traffic here.

Musical Instruments Are For Everyone

There are so many people that love music but don’t play any musical instruments. Ask them why and most will tell you “I just don’t have the talent for it.” That’s a cop out. And if they really understood the joy of making music as opposed to just listening to it, they would do whatever it took to learn. Admittedly talent is needed to be great, but making music is fun. You don’t have to be great. Yes it will take some work, but it is a rare person who, once they learn, doesn’t think the work was worth it ten times over.

If dogs had careers, the Miniature Pinscher would be a stand up comedian. This dog breed is simply hilarious with his antics. The Min Pin is nicknamed “The King of the Toys”, and the nickname fits because he definitely thinks he’s a king. This is a big dog in a small dog’s body. But he could also be called the “Clown Prince.” The Miniature Pinscher is simply fun to watch.

Most people used to think of profitable home based businesses as sort of small time brick and mortar businesses. Things like sharpening saws and stuffing envelopes that you could do right from your kitchen table.

In the age of the internet, however, the real deal is online. There are any number of ways you could start a business online, but theabsolute best way is to have a mentor or a coach help you get started.

This site is one of the best I have seen at delivering an affordable coaching program. Experience, a long trial period (30 days) with no payment required for that period, and everything based on the long term values of the Law of Attraction.

Perhaps you should consider the option of a payday loan. A payday loan may also be referred to as a cash advance loan or a check advance loan. Generally it is a short term loan for a small amount (usually between $50 and $500). This option can often carry with it very high interest.

If it is true that interest is extremely high on this type of loan, why is it popular? There are a number of reasons that make it so. In many cases, the benefits far outweigh potential consequences.

First of all, there are a number of reasons people have for needing this “quick cash.” Some need to make unexpected payments such as car repairs or emergency room bills.
